Have difficulties in making a credit card payment on your phone? Unfortunately, you’re not the only one. Many of you feel like this because it’s just not as easy as using a computer to make these payments. But we are here to tell you that it is possible. There are ways and means to make credit card payments on your phone.

It may take a bit more effort, especially if you’re not too technically-minded. Most of the time, making a credit card payment does work out fine, but there are times when things go wrong. If you experience problems or difficulties making these payments, here are some of the methods how you can make credit card payments easily:

1. Find The CVV Number

The first thing you need to do is check that you have the CVV number of your credit card at hand. The back provides the CVV number to operate your bank account. This will be needed when you start making electronic payments on your phone. Check for a sticker on the back or front of your credit card and ask your bank if there’s any other way of getting this number. Put this number aside as we’ll need it later on.

2. Download A Credit Card Payment App

You will need to download at least one of the best credit card payment apps. There are so many of them, but you have to find the most suitable one for you and your phone. With these applications, you can add your credit card information and use it every time you want. Some of the popular ones include GooglePay, PhonePay, and Paytm. Download any of these apps from the Play store unless you already have one from these vendors.

3. Enter The Card Information

Once you have downloaded and installed your chosen app, the next thing to do is enter all the details about your credit card. The applications provide the facility to save your credit card information so that if you don’t have your card with you, you can use it anywhere. This includes your bank’s name, number, expiry date, security code, and even the CVV number that we got from our credit card.

4. Set Up A Payment Account And Log On

After all these steps are done, you are ready to start making payments online through mobile phones. Now log on to the app you have installed and enter your credit card details again. You can also save it. All you need is to enter the card information manually or let the app do it automatically. Input the CVV number that you have got from your bank, and then work on setting up a payment account.

5. Choose Your Payment Method

On the app, you’ll be able to choose a payment method from among many. You can choose from cash withdrawals, mobile recharges, bill payments, electronic fund transfers, etc. You can also choose which bills can be paid using this app through SMS, email, or the USSD system. The problem is that most of us use USSD mode for our phone calls but not for our online payments. So you may try out other methods before adding your card details to the app.
